Brilliant book that tells the truth about the origins of the state of Israel and forced dispersal of the Palestinian people. Recommend that you buy. Truth is in short supply!

Uppa Alleys!! Just three of the alleys involved in 2025 event. Wildflower Alley has not only sparked regeneration in Belfast Holyland. We ignited a desire for Belfast residents to develop green community spaces. Statutory agencies need to step up in support. Belfast needs us!

Alleygates promised for Holyland streets three years ago have still not been installed due to objections from private landlords. This would not be tolerated anywhere else in Belfast. Why are elected representatives not sorting this?

I do not want to go to a cafe and ask for an Americano when I just want a black coffee. I’ve always felt this but at this particular time I REALLY dont want the word Americano to pass my lips. I will ask for a black coffee and hope to get a coffee with no milk. Reasonable?

February 2022 Minister Hargey Announced an Improvement programme. This included Alleygating remaining Holyland streets that had not benefited from the increased security such gates provide. Private landlords objected and the gates have not been installed. What is the update?

Congratulations to Wildflower Alley residents who ten years ago this month cleared up rubbish from a dilapidated area and created an inspirational project! Well done us!

Residents Derry and North Belfast concerned about rise of HMOs and associated problems, one of which is over parking. Nothing new here. Lessons not learned from Belfast Holyland. Double parking on pavements common, long term residents leaving, authorities ignore. Landlords rule!

Queens Quarter Belfast Holyland blissfully quiet this time of year! The architecture, location, greenery, community diversity so well displayed. Wonder if it’s because this term ( semester?) is over? Lol

This was Wildflower Alley Wednesday night. All lit up and with Ormeau Community Ukes playing! Such a tonic for the soul at this dark time. Highlights the worth of Alleys!
