Speaker Pelosi says she is calling for the resignation of the US Capitol Police chief, and she has been advised that he will be submitting his resignation.

Thinking of and praying for the humans who protested out of love for Black lives who are still traumatized by how law enforcement and military harmed them during protests against racism and police brutality. For them to see what they saw in our nation’s Capitol yesterday...

The incredible show of force that we saw in DC this summer... Where is it? That was nowhere near what we are seeing happen today as lawmakers in both chambers are in lockdown and unable to continue their duties while violent protestors storm the Capitol.

We’ve been told repeatedly that there is a huge white supremacy problem in law enforcement. There are people whose job it is to secure the Capitol who sympathize and empathize with the Trump mob.

Let’s just be clear about something: The reason the Capitol police were slow to respond is because they gave these white people the benefit of the doubt and treated it like a joke. Their reaction isn’t the same because they see black people as a threat that needs to be eliminated

This mob attack on our Capitol and our Constitution is immoral, unjust, dangerous, and inexcusable. What has happened to our country is tragic, and could have been avoided.

Just a reminder that this all started because a black man won the presidency.

Trump went on a Twitter storm this AM but NOT one tweet praising the new criminal charges against the police officers who murdered George Floyd?! Why? Simple, it's Not because Trump is worried about angering his base, it's because Trump is a WHITE SUPREMACIST.

The president is calling out the American military against American citizens. He used the military to push out a peaceful protest so he could have a photo op at a church. It's all just a reality TV show for this president. Shameful.
