A highlight of last night’s @BourbonCrusade event was joining my friend @FredMinnick to auction the 1st 8-year wheated @Holladay1856 bourbon barrel. I loved spending the evening among friends & legends for a good cause, especially at Bill Samuels, Jr’s home!

There are a lot of “personalities” in whiskey but few outstanding writers anymore. True excellence in writing takes a lot more talent and hard work than anyone gets credit for. Maggie deserves this honor, and I hope she inspires many young women to carry the torch.
