It’s day 4 of building the Drift replacement web chat platform. Yesterday, at brunch, I found a name and grabbed a domain and started iterating on positioning and category design of the product, category and ‘company’. I grabbed a really strong name I think. The domain is

I built a new SaaS a few months ago, and then thought it was going to be hard to monetize and market it, so moved onto to the new, exciting product (that about to launch) I just left it up, it fully works, takes payments. Was looking at Stripe, getting ready for my new

I keep telling myself that it's totally normal to get mad at an AI like Claude Code. Totally normal, in 2026. Really, just need to be hyper specific in prompts always because they are tuned to do what you want right then and forget about all the 'global' goals of the task.

My year with ChatGPT - I way overused ChatGPT in 2025 top .1% of users. 😳😵‍💫

I don’t understand why some people don’t live in dark mode on their iPhone. I’ve had to go in light mode to read some bad formatted text and hate it.

That feeling when everything is close to launch…. Nervous and excited. You’ve been heads down for weeks, building and iterating - and building and thinking and iterating. The Stripe integration is in, all the core features for launch are baked. Doing more testing and

Question, are you releasing your MVP or your MVP ?-> Minimum Viable Product or Minimum VALUABLE Product?? For my new project, I am going Valuable, not 'viable' Viable in a crowded, noisy world does not get attention Yes, there could be value in viable, but I am focusing on a

I had to have a 'talk' with Claude Code after it started building duplicate views and wasting my time --> do I need to explicitly tell you to review first? ⏺ No, you shouldn't need to tell me to review first - that should be my default behavior. Reading and understanding

It's absolutely bonkers what I've built in two months.

Another day spent building by typing commands for a robot to ‘do the work’. My job is verification and testing and iterating and it is so much faster than the old way.

Best time of the year to grind in Seattle. Some coffee, some focus and now infused with AI multipliers. Let’s go! 🚀

Another day and you will see opposite takes in vibe coding across the spectrum. You can’t build something real Only senior developers can build real applications with AI Anyone can build an app - it just takes some time and effort SaaS products are dead - anyone can vibe

This has nothing to do with coding or building a business - but I just love this sentence about the band fIREHOSE in Apple music —> “Taking their group name from a line in Bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues," fIREHOSE continued in the Minutemen tradition of breathtaking

Dear @sama - big fan of ChatGPT, but 5.1 is messed up with long, some might call ‘massive’ conversations. You should look into it. Happy Thanksgiving. Happy to provide more details.

I think GPT5.1 is off or something. It is being super annoying. In a thread, it keeps returning to the previous point ignoring the most recent prompt’s focus. Anyone else seeing this?

The best things about these new AI coding tools: I am an expert in regex, I can figure any pattern out. I can produce perfect json or decode it in seconds. I will never have an issue with git ever again. I will never not want to invest the time to see if a new feature

So CloudFlare went down a couple days ago and took down a couple of my sites and customer sites. Do we consider a move away, find some redundancy or hope for the best going forward? Are you making some contingency plans now?

The X algo is interesting. Lately, I make a post, quickly get a few likes, some interaction and then it drops to nothing. I know I have a small account but the pattern just seems to repeat itself too well. What do other small accounts see on your posts?

Today, I’m going to build a Chrome extension. It will be 80% done in minutes. It will be 90% done in an hour maybe. It will be 95% done in another hour or two. To get to 100%, ready to ship is subjective and I will find out and let you know. This is the new reality of
