Somehow brought the suit-sized Godzilla 2000 bust to this year's G-Fest via plane. I missed @shinichiwakasa's Saturday late-afternoon visit to the model display room. After coordinating with @ProjNautilusCos, we brought the bust and his G2K3 suit up to him on Sunday. @GFEST_GFAN

Some wax casting and sculpting work of a dragon hand last week in Texas for an upcoming bronze sculpture project.

Trying to send a friend home with one of my early 3D printer tests of a dragon leg. Unsure it'll survive the rigors of airline baggage handling. Need to pack it so it's not as fragilé. Perhaps turning it into a leg lamp? A homage to the ones made by Italian artisans of the past.

Friday the 13th and an interesting hotel room an assignment to boot. Does this mean special friends will visit for a party!?

Was told to bring my Godzilla 2000 bust & place it on Tsutomu Kitagawa's table at Godzillafest. The bust was well received by attendees. Kitagawa-san even signed it at the end of the show & answered tons of questions on his career during an after-event dinner. Awesome weekend!

Scored Phil Tippett's book at a fantastic price. Thanks to @PaintYourDragon for the heads up!

Monsterpalooza 2023 was a blast this year. Great catching up with all the creature creator friends I've met over the years. The next Monsterpalooza can't come fast enough!

Oops. Worst resin leak so far. Knew the FEP was in questionable condition after dropping the plate in it. Live and learn. Cleaned up nicely and thankfully, the process didn't destroy the polarizer.

This was a fun piece to see in person. The original artwork used on a limited edition print for the Dungeons and Dragons film. Painted by Jeff Easley. #DnDMovie. I still need to find that Themberchaud popcorn bucket.

Attending the IlluXCon Art Show this week. Good showing of well known Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering artists. Been attending this show since 2009. Always a fun event for inspiration and burning a hole in my pocket.

Wax castings for a bronze bust of Draco from Dragonheart. Also some semi-serious discussions of potentially bringing down molds from one the person-sized creations I've done to create a bronze statue that'll live in the backyard. Downside is that it'll be at least 600lb (272kg).
