POTS. Big success running recently. Muscle spasms, heavy legs, difficulty walking, and severe fatigue the last two days. Have my cane ready for the morning. Yes, this is what it’s like.

POTS affects more people than multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s, yet it remains widely unknown. Research shows it can impact quality of life at levels similar to congestive heart failure and COPD. Despite that, it’s still routinely dismissed as anxiety. This isn’t mild.

I can’t believe how far I’ve come since not being able to walk and being diagnosed with POTS. What a journey #pots #livingchronic #dysautonomia

This is why we need better legislation & tax incentives for employers to hire disabled into remote roles. When standing, commuting or driving isn’t possible, access to work disappears not the desire to work. Remote work isn’t a perk. It’s economic survival. #DisabilityInclusion

Happy New Year! My 2026 resolution: choose myself as I am now. I’m honoring my capacity instead of fighting it, letting go of who I was before chronic illness, & building a life that fits the person I am today: limits, strength, resilience & all. Here’s to choosing you, too. 💛

Dysautonomia. It was the most difficult challenge I’ve ever encountered. Living with this hasn’t become any easier but I have at least found treatment that works and learned a lot from my guests. #livingchronic #dysautonomia #pots

2025 was a life-changing year. I finally got in to see a POTS specialist & we found a treatment that WORKS. I learned so much from guests on Living Chronic. And…I finished my book. Coming August 2026. Thanks for being on this journey with me. Onward to 2026.💛🦋 #2025Rewind

I did NOT cure POTS. I've improved my quality of life w/ PT, diet, & medications that include daily fludrocortisone & muscle relaxer. It's dangerous to keep perpetrating this myth that chronic illness is caused by a poor diet and lack of exercise. #chronicillness #POTS

AI and offshoring may cut costs, but 75% of customers still want a human. Meanwhile, disability unemployment remains high. We could build U.S.-based customer service staffed by disabled workers and revitalize rural economies #FutureofWork New article ⬇️ https://t.co/ZlzGCqqSSy

💜 December 1–7 is #CrohnsandColitisAwarenessWeek. These illnesses may be invisible, but the people living with them are not. Here’s to the fighters, advocates, caregivers, & researchers making sure we keep moving toward better treatments, more compassion, & cures.
