It is impossible for the front wing to NOT flex under the amount of aero load they have on a high downforce track. The components must have some flexibility otherwise they would shatter and break into bits. This is why the FIA allows for movement under load per regulation. At

COTA 2023 🇺🇸 Charles lifting through the high speed corners in the sprint to protect the plank and build wear margin for the main race. Yet, Ferrari still kept him on the slower one-stop strategy on Sunday & unsurprisingly, he exceeded the skid wear limit and was disqualified.

SAI (left) vs LEC (right)⚔️ Laps 14-19 This is the throttle trace during corners 16-17-18 Here you can LEC lifts getting bigger with each lap, where SAI is more/less consistent everytime. It correlates with the laptimes. W/o starting conspiracies, smthng may have been be up.

#F1 | Pirelli has allocated another nonsequential tyre range for Austin. C1-C3-C4. #USGP 🇺🇸 Same allocation used at Spa, where some did 32/44 laps on the C3. External variables ultimately decide whether the choice pays off, but I'm expecting to see another one-stop race.
