25 years ago, when I bought my first U2 CD at 13, I would never have guessed where my journey with the band would take me. Seeing all my work together like this, I feel so much gratitude to everyone who supported me. I don’t know what’s next, but I know the music will carry me.

The first copy of my new book “U2: Until the End of the World” is here! It feels incredible to finally hold something I dedicated two years of my life to. To be given the opportunity to commentate U2’s 50th was a privilege, & I’m proud of how everything came together.

Robert's case for historians to treat hardcore punk lyrics as a cultural document offers insight into the economic & cultural woes faced by (largely white male) suburban kids who turned to the mic to channel their anger & frustration into a message that resonated nationwide. 2/2.

September marks the 40th anniversary of the PMRC hearings. Got a new book on Frank Zappa that explores how condemned white Christian nationalism, and why that message is sadly still relevant today. Available for interview to chat about the PMRC’s impact on our culture. @lsupress

Basically, if someone opened my book to page 99, would they get a good or an inaccurate idea of the whole work?.

I was asked to apply the "Page 99" test regarding my new book on Zappa which grows out of an observation attributed to the author Ford Madox Ford: "Open the book to page 99 and read, and the quality of the whole will be revealed to you." Check it out here:.

We discuss “Jagged Little Pill" and how it serves as the centerpiece from which Alanis evolved as an artist. We also dive into the album's feminism, censorship, cultural connections, and the queer allyship that can be experienced in the music. A great study of cultural relevance.
