Hats off to @hoka. Purchased a pair of Soeedgoat 6 just over a month ago. Put them through their paces. Unfortunately they weren’t for me. Returned them today, no questions, no hesitation. Two things are clear:.They back their product completely. And their customer service is.

Why are we still planning training volume in distance?. Time dictates physiological load. Distance just tells you how far you went. Same 10K. Different pace. Different cost. Train by time. Adapt by intensity. Perform with purpose.

What doesn’t work:.• Heart rate–based training zones.• Sprinting for calories.• Chasing pace without context. What does:.Training via thresholds. Intensity drives adaptation. Thresholds define intensity. Always choose internal direction over external output.
