And white southern men and women all helped to free as many slaves as they could. until they would get caught and loss thier possesions sometimes thier own lives. So yes some white southern folks helped and some even died to help black lives.

Connected member became know as the underground railroad. Well the members that assisted in this servicewere facing death if they were caught just like the slaves. Well these members weren't black. 95% of them were white people that owned property or estates in the south.

I have a question. During the civil war Harriet Tubman helped countless of slaves to thier freedom by being in contact with multiple members of the underground railroad. Members most of the time would give them water and food.and sometimes even a place to rest thier heads.

If we try and forget the civil war. Why don't we forget July 4 1776? Because we were union and confederate soldiers. after the war we became united. So we should celebrate that day as the day we became our own nation? Not July 4th. In My opinion

The confederate flag doesn't represent hate or racism or slavery.And Yes the civil war was over a 100 years ago. But some of us had family members that faught and died in the war. Blacks and whites both faught and died beside each other.The flag is about not forgetting them.
