i wonder a lot about how things would have been different if i were able to afford better insurance, which would have kept me on my preferred ADHD meds instead of swapping them. i think about the support a lot of us forego in doing any creative field.

my comics broke me moment was complicated, and entirely self-inflicted because i was trying to replicate the production timelines of a publisher. i gave myself < a year to finish 150 pg GN. start to finish. rough draft to shipping. no wonder my life fell apart!
