Nothing better meeting a client in person, one-on-one. Zoom can connect us, but it can’t match the trust, candor, and accountability built face-to-face. Real transformation happens when you’re in the room—teaching, challenging, elevating. Today’s 2.5 hours flew by. I’m fired up!

Our morning routine as we get ready for the grand finale of our Leadership Academy after eight months of successes, challenges, wins, and growth. This group has evolved as people, as leaders, and as employees at Cascade. We can’t wait for year #5 in 2026.

Great leaders do what great coaches do — they stay close to their players. Skip-level meetings give you the real pulse of your team: the energy, the stress, the ideas, the truth behind the metrics. Retention & performance don’t come from org charts, they come from relationships.

Coachability is the real differentiator. Coachable leaders are open and curious. Uncoachable ones try to control the process. Coaching only works when you’re ready to grow. #leadership #coachability #growthmindset

As a coach, @borton_pam knows the best work happens face-to-face — where you read the moment, build trust, and adjust in real time. She's in Atlanta today with a new client. Clarity rises, decisions accelerate, leadership elevates. On the road + ready to work. #executivecoach

You get what you expect. In sports, feedback was constant — timeouts, halftimes, next-day work. That’s how growth happened. In business, the same rule applies: clarity, feedback, accountability. People rise to the level you coach, not the one you hope for.

Companies spend millions “transforming.” New tech. New systems. Three years later, many are right back where they started. Because real transformation isn’t technical — it’s human. Tech evolves. People carry the change forward. #Leadership #Change

Big names. Big layoffs. Target. Amazon. Microsoft. No one can afford to be passive about their career. Companies evolve. Your job? Stay indispensable. Adapt. Learn. Lead without title. #Leadership

Fear holds you back. Joy takes you further than talent ever could. I’ve seen it in sports and business—your people determine your growth. Surround yourself with those who love the grind. That’s where greatness happens. #Leadership #Mindset #HighPerformance

The target keeps moving — sports, sales, leadership. Expectations shift and change. What worked last year might fail today. Adaptability made us the winningest program in school history. Now, I help leaders do the same — evolve, raise standards, and keep redefining the bullseye.

Great leaders don’t get there alone. They’ve got someone in their corner pushing them to the next level. Even the best have a coach. #OnPoint #HighPerformance #Leadership #Coaching

What looks like a baby’s playroom is actually home to some of my most passionate “coaches.” Leadership lesson: High performance isn’t about hustle. It’s about rhythm. Elite leaders know when to sprint—and when to rest. Tunnel time or nap time?

Executives should always be building for what’s next. If you’re not evolving, you’re falling behind. Growth takes structure, focus, talent & accountability. Vision is just the start—execution is everything. #Leadership #ExecutiveCoaching #Scaling #NextLevel

It’s the little things. Spent the morning with a longtime client overlooking Minneapolis—celebrating growth, wins, and what’s ahead. After 4 years of coaching, I finally got my first coffee mug! 😄☕️ Here’s to more milestones… and maybe a hoodie next?

Brought our new puppy Sumer home, then left for a 2-day trip. Her reaction while I was absent reminded me: Trust builds fast and deepens with consistency. Whether it’s puppies or teams—connection fuels engagement. #Leadership #ExecutiveCoach #TeamCoach #HighPerformance

Off to OKC, then ATL. Nothing beats meeting clients in person. As a coach, trust is built in the room—through real conversation, energy, and presence. Leaders today face real-time challenges & big opportunities. Being there matters. So does building trust fast. Let’s go. ✈️

Q4 is here, and boards and founders have their sights set on leadership and who’s up next. As organizations gear up to start 2026 strong, I’m thrilled to be partnering with 4 new clients this month — all in major growth mode and preparing to step into bigger, more impactful roles

It’s been a quiet 2 weeks—life’s been full. Today I picked up Sumer, our 13-week-old Yorkie, in Minnesota—flying home now to join Louie & Ally. 3 Yorkies, a busy business, constant travel… expect more thought leadership (and puppy-powered lessons) soon. 🐾✈️
