Back to my favourite Ballymena coffee spot, @mtowncoffee, for a quiet half hour with coffee and a book. Just what I needed.

Bought this #IrishBookADay last time I was in Dublin. I couldn't resist when the author was described as the Irish Daphne du Maurier!

Today's #IrishBookADay has been my absolute favourite of the past few years from the wonderful @MumblinDeafRo, Ronan Hession. This book makes my heart happy.

Shout out to today's #IrishBookADay, my Ballymena homegirl @JanCarson7280 and her fantastic The Fire Starters. I couldn't love this book more

Cheating on #IrishBookADay today, because how could I possibly choose between @WednesdayErskin's two marvellous story collections?

Happy #IrishBookWeek, I'm going to try and post about some Irish faves, old and new, this week! First needs no introduction as it's EVERYWHERE, and deservedly so. A quiet and devastating book.

It's been forever since I've just finished work at a normal hour and taken myself and my book to the pub. What a delight

I'm flying to Ireland this evening, but my next #WITMonth read is from China. A very strange book, I can't quite get the measure of it, but I am enjoying it!

Beautiful start to #WITMonth with a @PeirenePress title. Is anyone else heading to France when they're reading women in translation this August?

Turns out this is the perfect weather to delve back into @LisaTheHeretic's Glorious Heresies. Everything in the book is too hot, too close, too angry, and utterly marvellous

Stayed up stupid late because I couldn't stop reading @JanCarson7280's gorgeous and crushing The Raptures. You must read this.

Appropriate reading material for the train. If only I had someone who needed murdered. Also, I hate it when people talk to me on the train.

Have been reading @SJAMcBride's phenomenal book over the last few weeks, and relaying the content to anyone who will listen. Essential reading for anyone interested in the environment, corruption, or if you just want to understand a bit more about contemporary N.Ireland
