It might be cold outside but it’s warm at Tythy HS on Sunday mornings, where Bollington United’s next generation are cooking. All are welcome. 9-10am, £6 a session. They love it.

Our Bats, Bees, Eagles & the rest of the gang have been in action today. A few shout-outs. Our new girls team, the Nancy Whites, lost one of their 1st games this season 19-0. Today, they lost to the same team 4-0 👏. And the U9 Ballers, sorry, Bulls, get a 🙌 for being cool.

Rennes thought they had scored to secure a place in the #UEL last 16, deep into added time, but VAR had other ideas 😳 Can anyone work out why this goal was disallowed? 🤯

It’s not even Christmas but our U10 Bees are “on the beach” already. Questions must be asked of the management team, surely?!?

With all of our team managers looking for something called an “inverted” full-back (🤷‍♂️), we held an open trial this morning. No good. We only got the old-fashioned type of “overlapping” full-back. Will have to do it again.

Will there be grassroots (or astro) football this weekend? The forecast is wet but much warmer than last weekend when we didn’t get many games…but ones we got were very pretty, like this one involving our U10 Mavericks in Congleton.

If you ever find yourself in Zurich with an hour to spare, we strongly recommend The FIFA Museum. It’s got an amazing collection of football’s most iconic artefacts. Some of the collection is stuff that only the greats of the game have touched.

No fixture for our U16 Warriors today so they enjoyed a complete day off from football…by having Sunday lunch together, while watching football on TV, at a football ground. Many thanks to @Bar27Macc for keeping them fed & watered.
