You know how I know socialism will never work? I once worked a manual labor job, unsupervised shift work. The tasks only required 2 hours of effort, then the remaining six were yours to use for whatever. hours worked breakdown:.1st guy: 6-8 hrs.2nd: 2 hrs.3rd: 1 hr.4-7: 0 hrs.
You know how I know socialism will never work? Every year schools hide from parents that the school supplies that they require parents to buy will be pooled. Because they know if parents know they will be pooled, they will buy the crappy generic stuff instead of the good brands.

this doesn't only happen in California. it happened to me. if a medical facility accepts Medicaid/Medicare, they are not allowed to offer a cash quote. then the private insured are charged 1.5-3x more than the Medicare/aid price. private ins is subsidizing govt "healthcare".
