@OldSchoolRS Jagex, now that you have incorporated meso american designs in Varlamore, it’s time to talk about adding Mexico, Brazil, and Asian server worlds. Currently, RS3 has a Mexico world server, let’s have one for OSRS too.

Amazing to add a bit more variety to my combat by adding the chance to miss, as well as adding critical hits as well as misses to the enemies, too! Makes combat a lot more interesting! #gbstudio #indiedev #gamedev

A few days ago I was redoing my combat system so the player can select items from the fight menu (only potions so far) Today I saw a @robertldoman video on turn-based battles and was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was on the right track with my logic! Yay! #gamedev

Also, the new version cut the unique tiles by over 50%, so a lot less taxing on the game. Also, the way I set it up looks better in-game, imo, even if it’s uglier as a map… Does that make sense?

So yesterday I went back and re-did my biggest map so far. It was urgent b/c the map was hitting sprite limits and causing stuttering. I had grown used to the thatched-roof houses, but I kinda like the perspective of the new box-shaped ones What do you guys think? #gamedev

So all I do is try to keep in mind what my original objective is and try to not over-scope my game! I want to power on and have a satisfying main story before going back and seeing what I should improve and eventually add

My main objective with my new #gamedev project is to actually finish it. Pretty obvious, I know. But it’s easy to just go “oh, what if I do this? What if I do that? Will this work?” And just keep adding to the project. Scope-creep is real! #indiedev

I have to say: I've been bitten by the #gamedev bug again. I found out about a lil engine called GB Studio last week and I haven't been able to PUT IT DOWN It has been SO MUCH FUN learning and using it, and I'm so happy that I've found a project to work on again! #indiedev
