🌱 Spring planting in the American Chestnut orchard! Once dominant on the East Coast, 4B trees were wiped out by blight in the 20th century. BRS is proud to help preserve native genetics, aiding scientists in developing a blight-resistant hybrid. Great work, boys!

Blue Ridge School honors the memory of John LeBas Trimmer, who passed away peacefully at 95 on January 18, 2025. A Naval Aviator in Korea, and beloved BRS leader from 1963-1990, he shaped the school’s future with charm and wisdom.
