This statement is wrong at so many levels but saying use of squash & stretch (one of the basic principles of animation) is a "recent trend" is really something huh. But Why is it always the Ufo/DS fans with these insanely ignorant and baseless takes tho ?? 😭.
This animation being from 2008 is actually insane. One thing I love about Ufo is how they keep their characters mostly on model. People who say Ufotable relies on VFX are straight lying. I don't really like the recent trend of extreme squash/stretch in anime lately. (like

It's crazy how slept on the Zoro Vs Lucci fight still is. In manga it's mostly offscreen but in anime we get this fight in 2 high priority eps & animated by some of the best animators (Tu yong-ce & Soty) And will continue to have such amazing moments in future.

Ppl complain about spoilers in one piece openings. The op is made to show before the ep for the rest of the arc , so it's obvious it'll include stuff that is about to happen in upcoming eps. If not the spoilers then what tf openings are supposed to show exactly ??
