New York, New York
Joined September 2010
Jerry Lowenstein, founding nonfiction editor of @blreview, is honored with an obituary in the NY Times. He is missed by so many, but his spirit lives on in the innumerable doctors he trained, authors he edited and colleagues he inspired.

When not guiding students in a compassionate approach to patient care, he led a tiny publishing imprint that won a surprise Pulitzer Prize with a novel others had rejected.
