Even government department Defra report that:A location such as Heathrow Airport where aircraft tend to approach the airport from the east (flying over the London conurbation) there is potential for considerable exposure to UFP from aircraft using Heathrow.

Do you believe this dispersion modelling exercise commission by Heathrow or independent academic research by the universities of Southern California & Washington at Los Angeles & by Tufts University at Boston Logan Airport of UFPs over wide populated areas downwind of airports

For many years there has been a travel deficit because British tourists spend much more money abroad than foreign tourist spend in Britain

Not only is air travel the dirtiest from of transport but Labour's idea of building more runway to bost the economy won't work as it will allow British holidaymakers to spend even more abroad reducing the amount available to spend in Britain. And hasten climate change disaster!

Ultrafine Particle are so small that they will pass the lung blood barrier & can get into the placenta & affect the brains of unborn babies reducing IQ & increasing the risk of ADHD & autism which is why most cities have moved their main airports away from major cities.

By flying over the centre of London. Heathrow Airport must be the worst positioned airport in the world & our crazy government has given Heathrow permission to build a 3rd runway. Apart from the noise & pollution thousands of new people will be subject to more Global warming

Margaret Thatcher's selling of Public Utilities has also been a disaster. Harold Wilson's refusal to send British troops to Vietnam was an important achievement.

Before Compulsory Competitive Tendering the Councils used to send machines round to suck the dirt out of the sumps under roadside drains. Now that this no longer happens the drains are blocked which leads to flooding at the side of roadsides when it rains.

I think that Margaret Thatcher was a disastrous PM. She initiated Compulsary Competitive Tendering of council services. I only dealt with Conditions of Contract which, although they were prepared by expensive lawyers, were full of mistakes & omissions. We are still suffering.

Expanding Heathrow and Gatwick will mean that British tourists will be able to spend even more money abroad. How does this Government think that this will help the economy???

Research found that elevated concentrations of ultrafine particles from aircraft extend at least 10 miles east of airports raising health concerns for affected residents & this government wants new runways at Heathrow & Gatwick to boost growth by people spending money abroad???

Unfortunately there have been enough people to actively fight Heathrow which must be the worst positioned Airport in the world. We need more people to actively fight Heathrow.

A banker won £100,000 over the noise of children playing upstairs and the noise of activities like washing up. However, there is nothing anyone can do about aircraft noise.
