I always wondered why it’s generally fine to sell commissions for fanarts and make fan merchandise and doujinshi, but totally taboo to attach money to fanfiction. I guess there have been more lawsuits around fanfiction?

i have many requests for characters/scenarios i’m not up-to-date with, so i’m waiting to do those 🤔 it’s awkward to draw things that i don’t know about in depth. & i want to avoid making things too OOC… to the furthest extent i can while still making everyone molest each other
