if i've decided i'm not being lazy in bed, i get up the moment i wake up. if i've decided i'm going for a walk, i don't care if it rains.

˚₊ ꒰ა discomfort build the habit of ignoring the voice that tells you you can't be bothered to do something. when you've decided you're doing something, you're doing it. no ifs ands or buts. this is the habit i've worked the hardest on and the one that's helped me the most.

when you get used to one of these habits, you can add onto that habit or make a new one. if you have this approach to every aspect of your life, you can truly change. i literally gaslit myself into loving healthy food, and if i'm given the opportunity, i'll pick fruits over candy

˚₊ ꒰ა habits and rituals build habits. it doesn't matter what it is. show yourself that you have the ability to change your behaviour. it can seriously be something as simple as making the bed when you get up, going to bed a bit earlier, doing a short stretch every morning.
