Since 2021, https://t.co/R4HMPt9uuY has championed the largest advocacy training for formerly incarcerated individuals. With the @NBAFoundation's support, we're equipping youth in Phoenix and Sacramento with tools to become community leaders and find job opportunities.

The most expensive prison EVER is set to be on a former mountaintop removal coal mine - furthering its literal toxicity. A new prison in coal country will devastate both the rural environment and the community surrounding it; especially the people of color locked inside.

Congratulations to Dream Justice Cohort alumni @Kenneth36185439 on being awarded the @DETROITNAACP Great Expectation Award! Kenneth graduated from the program in early 2022 after serving 16 years behind bars in Michigan for a crime he didn’t commit.

Certainty of punishment is a MUCH stronger deterrent signal than "length of punishment," so it a bit strange (since most people who commit serious crimes never get caught) that we keep investing exclusively in longer sentences as a response to crime
