Translated: "I don't have the discipline or temperament to work in tech.". If you have a problem "reading dry ass books, just wait until your neck-deep in application logs trying to diagnose a complex issue.
A few years ago on this same app, a man asked for resources to study for the Security Plus and he said "I'm not reading those dry ass books".

When family / friends inevitably ask me to help them get into tech, the first thing I ask is, "Can you self-motivate and dedicate 70-80% of your free time to study?". If they have to think about the answer, I don't bother.
Good morning. 😊I say this respectfully and out of love:. If I tell you which provider is offering free certs and your first response is “Do you have the link?” instead of Googling it… you’re already starting off on the wrong foot. Tech requires initiative. Start practicing now.

All my teens have AWS Educate accounts and will be certed up before they step foot on a college campus. I already taught them Python since they were 8-9 y/o. Once college is completed, they will ALL be positioned to dominate in the next 10-20 yrs.
That's why I close my ears when n*ggas try to discredit the certs and education. You have no idea what we're up against.

Because too many people have lottery mentality.
I don't understand why people are even thinking about competing with a small group of AI Engineers and AI Researchers. There are so many other high paying tech fields (obviously not 100M yearly salary but it's a pipe dream for someone starting now).

My first corporate IT job was doing Server Support for Dell. Worked in a call center. I knew it would lead to bigger things.
People act like they’ll be stuck there forever, as if upskilling isn’t an option 😭 it’s much easier to get into than the higher roles they are pursuing with no experience.

"The issue is Americans are being outworked. There’s no more honest victory than outworking the other guy.". I've been screaming this for years.
The biggest issue America faces isn’t a migrant workforce driving down wages. The average migrant worker is creating multiples more in value than the average American. The issue is Americans are being outworked. There’s no more honest victory than outworking the other guy.

I'm hyper independent because I've missed important deadlines while expecting a third-party to complete a critical subtask. Fuck that.
Being hyper independent is so crazy bc ppl will just decide to not help you bc you’re known for getting shit done, not realizing that is the very reason we are hyper independent.

"There’s really no such thing as a Palestinian" -Mike Huckabee, Future US ambassador to Israel. All you #FreePalestine voter who voted 3rd party as a protest vote, you played yourselves. Idiots.

To every minority that voted for this, you played yourselves.
Trump announces reparations for white people. He says he will ask the Justice Department to penalize colleges that consider diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and fine them so he can pay “restitution” to white people who he considers the real victims of racial discrimination.
