Can’t remember seeing a team fall off a cliff like this lot. The fact it’s my team makes it so upsetting. Really don’t know where Slot goes from here. Team looks devoid of organisation, intensity, resilience and quality. Bonkers after what they’ve done for the last eight years

Wow. The arrogance of thinking we can go against decades of test cricket in Australia is staggering. We’ve forgotten how to put a high price on each wicket and high class bowlers aren’t having to work for their wickets. Big rethink required.
Alastair Cook faced more balls in his Brisbane double ton in 2010 than England faced in the whole Test here.

Batting for less than 68 overs in your two innings just feels brainless. There’s taking the positive options and then there’s giving wickets away. Chasing 250 would have been a real problem - this feels 50/50 at best.
