🤔 Great point @TheCaptain320! It's puzzling why a specific age is deemed so crucial. After all, we don't enforce retirement on doctors, school bus drivers, congresspeople, or presidents. I bet the very individuals who passed this law wouldn't dream of voting for their own term
@Captsully Sully - I believe you were 1 year away from retirement when the Miracle on the Hudson happened . Would it have had a different outcome if it had happened when you were 1 year older , past the retirement age ?

@Captsully @commercedems @Captsully Can you explain what the original data was for picking the age 65 in the first place? I keep hearing about “data” being needed to raise it but nothing on why 65 is the rule in the first place.

@auggiedoggie62 @KamalaHarris It’s also worth mentioning that of that 10,000+ people victimized by Human Trafficking in 2017, 1,305 came from California alone, the highest of any state with the next being Texas with 792 cases. #allcrimesucks #HumanTrafficking

@KamalaHarris Any increase sucks but a closer look shows the number of agencies reporting hate crimes increased by 1,000 compared to 2016 but if you’re gonna still go by those stats a 13% increase in human trafficking is worth mentioning.
