A7: I agree with @joanna_hayman6 less edu jargon would go along way to increasing family and student involvement and access to the IEP process. Also focusing on implementing ways to have students lead their own IEP meetings. #SwDMathChat.

A6: We have IEP coordinators that work with families to advocate for students who struggle to advocate for themselves. They also take a lot of the paperwork/bureaucracy off of the teacher’s caseloads. #SwDMathChat.

A1: We generally have very good relationships with families at our school, because it has taken a lot of work and advocacy to get their children to our school. So our families are pretty committed to our school community. #SwDMathChat.
