This is the crux of the matter. Most of the Ronus I know, the most vocal ones, didn’t even vote for BAT. Their reasons include the OPC saga, Sunday Igboho, and their belief that he was the one who initiated giving non-Yorubas political positions in Lagos.
The facts will speak for themselves. It would only expose the hypocrisy of the opposition. A lot those who are ronu don’t actually support the president but the hate/hypocrisy got so bad that it warranted a response albeit just as extreme.

Without Ronu, Tinubu would’ve been so unpopular he might’ve resigned. That’s why they really hate Ronu—not tribalism, but for exposing hypocrisy and making it okay to support who you want without tribal guilt or shame. They took away the stigma of supporting Tinubu.

Asides that sef, when we were mentioning names of Great and Good Governors back then, I can remember names that popped up very well till date, with BRF leading the pack, Donald Duke, Kwankwaso, Akpabio and a few others. At no time was Alhaji Kinni’s name mentioned at all.
