Poker player. Believed in #Bitcoin before it was cool. Love the odd degen trade.

I've recently been immersing myself deeply into poker, a longtime hobby of mine. I'm will start documenting my journey on substack along with some market analysis as both fields share similarities. The first essay covers concepts on 3-betting. https://t.co/vxoeJSI2aJ

Interesting piece on why Polymarket is more than a degen-trading infrastructure. One interesting note was how social media incentivizes for virality which is often generated through non-accurate info. Prediction markets incentivize accuracy of opinion. https://t.co/ihauIMHxDT

From a broader perspective, altcoin market cap is rebounding towards previous ATHs. Worth monitoring the broader movements when looking at specific projects as most will move with the overall market trend. Don't swim against the stream and whatnot.

Here's how the $PUMP market cap as a percentage of $BONK MC has been evolving. It briefly surpassed on $BONK on launch but quickly dropped to around ~35% in the first 10 days. Yesterday it was trading at roughly par as the below graph shows but it has jumped to 115% today.

After a launch surrounded in a huge amount of negative sentiment and what many thought was a dead project, $PUMP has just pumped its way past $BONK. Over the past 24 hours, it has moved past $2 billion market cap for the first time since it's launch. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

10/ @Monarch lost over $15 million to @junglemandan over the weekend but we will probably see him soon again putting seasoned pros to the test for high stakes He's also building a new casino venture which will be interesting to see how it evolves given his colorful CSGO ventures

9/ Whether you agree with the tactics of Monarch or not, he's undoubtedly going to be an interesting character on the poker scene. Here is a clip of him spooking seasoned professionals with the worst hand in poker. https://t.co/lfhgMRopG5

8/ When a streamer @GrimzYoutube refused to stop promoting CSGORoll, he sent protesters to his front door and paid people to hand out pamphlets all around his town.

6/ While both were offering similar services, Monarch would try to be the voice of change in the industry. He would come after CSGORoll HARD for allegedly unfair gambling with the ability to manipulate outcomes and lack of age or locations restrictions.

5/ These sites are largely unregulated and allow you to use the value of CSGO skins as proxy money to gamble. They have little KYC checks, resulting in a huge amount of underage gambling on the sites. A @coffeebreak_YT video estimates these sites make tens of millions monthly.

4/ Killian went on to form a gambling website for CSGO @CSGORoll. Only 18 at the time, Monarch saw this as a huge opportunity and built his own website @CSGOEmpire. However, there was a huge dark side to these sites that led to a much bigger clash between Monarch and Killian.

3/ @Monarch and @VIILines would run a profitable site but it wouldn't end well with Monarch claiming that Killian ended up scamming him out of the business. Killian also has his side of the story. But this would only be the start... https://t.co/G54az7MlLw

Proof Monarch Never Had His Business Stolen As you have witnessed, multiple false accusations have been made about me and my businesses from Ossi Ketola who you know as Monarch. I’d like to address one single allegation here which he uses as his β€˜root cause’ to justify the acts

2/ At 14, Monarch claims he started doing legitimate business activities on Runescape like being a middleman. He eventually partner with @VIILines Killian to set up a off-site Runescape gambling service This would set the foundation for huge drama. https://t.co/kbp574IaHT

1/ Born in Finland, Monarch's real name is Ossi Ketola. He started off staking and scamming on Runescape between the ages of six and thirteen. Essentially doing things promising to double your money and logging out immediately after.

0/ This 28-year old just lost $15 million in the largest public poker game ever. But it's only a blip in his total wealth. Widely known as Monarch, his backstory is fascinating and involves scamming, offshore gambling, and mob-like business tactics. πŸ§΅πŸ‘‡

$PUMP could be one to keep an eye on πŸ‘€ Whales slammed it on launch & $BONK took it's leadership position over the past month But they're sitting on $1.3 billion in cash from TGE (more than its current market cap) And I don't think @a1lon9 is one to let the project slowly die
