World Book Day today 📚 Children can dress as a book character or in comfiest reading clothes. A favourite book to share can be brought to school. Unused books to be brought for a book swap shop later. Families can join in the hall at 3pm for a special story time. Mrs W 😊

We had our own special service yesterday at BFS for Remembrance. Thank you to all who attended to make it happen and of course to our wonderful children who as always did us so proud. Mrs W @LordLtWY @167RegimentChef

Always inspiring to visit @birdsedgefirst and wonderful to represent @LordLtWY at their community Remembrance service, the children recited poetry and sung hymns around the War memorial and Julie Peace @167RegimentChef gave some moving prayers. Thank you to all involved.

We are delighted to share with you some really good news. Yesterday our KS1 girls took part in the Shelley Pyramid Football Tournament. 70 girls took part and our small team of 5 only went and won the Trophy!!! We are super proud ⚽️🏆🎖️💪💛💙

Thanks to everyone who came and helped with our Open Evening. Lovely to meet new families and I’m so grateful to all the current families who helped make it a success. Feeling so lucky and just delighted to walk away tonight from a school we all feel so proud of. Mrs W 💛💙
