A new school year—and therefore, a new football season—has begun! Therefore, our team at the FSHN-PPP was hard at work making @UofIllinois' delicious Block I cookies this week. We make around 1K cookies per home football game, approximately 6K total per football season! 🤯

It’s tomato time at the Food Science & Human Nutrition Pilot Processing Plant! 🍅 This week, the team made pizza sauce for campus dining halls, using tomatoes grown on the @UofIllinois Student Sustainable Farm. Leftover pulp will be used as compost on the farm. Full circle!
