Outside of having a 5 month emergency fund. I’m also a month ahead on bills. Meaning my bills for June are already covered! I have a bill account that currently has enough plus some to cover all of my June bills!
This is your sign to stop fucking around and pick up a part time seasonal job and spend the next 2-3 months stacking money to pay off debt, save and elevate yourself!
I made over six figures this year and I drive a 2016 Honda with 122,000 miles. Here’s why I won’t upgrade my car ⬇️
This car still rides NICE
$35 fills her up and last a week
She’s PAID OFF! I don’t want another bill!
My dentist told me he doesn’t have a Roth IRA. And when I told him about the stock market he said he tried crypto. That’s not even the same shit😩. It made me realize money and status does not equate to financial literacy!

4 years ago I was bringing home $1,966 a month living in my sister’s attic. Today I closed on my second property, an investment property with money that took me 2 months to save 🙌🏾. God, Grit & Grind!
The fact that Derrick Jaxn still has 1.3 million followers and they are mostly women, black women, tells me women would rather listen to what a man says rather than what he does😩
Life changing actions don’t always mean GRAND. Doing Instacart was life changing for me. It made me $4K in 30 days and opened the world of side hustle possibilities.
As a black woman whose ancestors have been overworked, I do not subscribe to the notion that I too need to be overworked in order to prove that I’m not lazy!
Y’all not scared enough about your future when it comes to money. Y’all living crazy now thinking you can sustain this forever and not preparing for retirement is WILD! The way I’m tired now I know come 5-10 more years I’m done, so my retirement gets funded 3 ways NOW!
I used my personal relationship with American Express to get my business credit card. It never reports to my personal credit and they gave me over $100K buying power. I then used that to get business credit with Chase. I leveraged my personal credit for my business
I’m really not trying to be modest with my financials goals! I definitely want a lot of money. I need to be more than comfortable. I need to be able to give back freely.
My head is down for the rest of the year! No unnecessary spending, it’s all about saving and investing HEAVILY! I have goals I NEED to hit and not one material item is more important than those goals right now!
Both grew up in poverty, one got himself out and the other is still in it. The one making multiple six figures had a mindset of “I will not feel this way again” the other made excuses as to why he couldn’t do more or be more
I don’t subscribe to the idea of “we all have the same 24 hours” the reality is we don’t🤷🏾♀️ Money, kids, lifestyle all play a big factor in who can maximize their 24 hours and who can’t.
Cassie and Diddy was the FASTEST settlement I’ve ever seen. She has years of proof and I mean deep ugly shit he doesn’t want people to see. She’ll be on payroll forever

It’s the black people really shaming sharing salaries and wonder why the gap so crazy! Just because your mother said not to talk about money or your grandmother said not talk about money is the reason we lack simple financial literacy and leverage
One of my top budgeting tips⬇️
Stop waiting until the due date to pay your bills. When your check hits pay all of the bills you need to pay until you get paid again. This avoids you overspending and dipping into your bill money.
There are 100 days left until Christmas.
Saving $2/day =$200 to spend
Saving $5/day = $500 to spend
Savings $10/day = $1,000 to spend!
Start TODAY so you don’t have to use credit cards!

a high yield savings account and automate those savings transfers for the days you get paid!
the end of November you’ll have $1001 saved and that cash is what you’ll use to holiday shop. THAT’S IT! We don’t go over that number!
Patience and consistency is key! Don’t get on social media thinking your debt will be paid off in six months. For a lot of us it took way longer. Mine took 2.7 years. I’m going to tag some of your favorite influencers and we’ll see how long it took them to clear their debt!
When I have an “I want to splurge” feeling I’ll usually go to Dollar Tree( $1.25🙄) or 5 Below and take $25 in cash! It really does it for me. It feeds that need!
It’s the overqualified women talking about “I need one more degree, one more certification for the job” bitch have the same audacity as these podcast bros who shouldn’t even have a mic
The way you manage your finances is by owning it! Own the mistakes and make less of them! Educate yourself even on the difficult money topics and show up everyday as the rich woman you are and make financial decisions that a rich woman would!
How much you make isn’t nearly as impressive as how much you KEEP! 49% of six figure earners are living paycheck to paycheck, there’s nothing impressive about that!
But the women who make less than $80,000 and have $3K-$10K saved… now THAT’S IMPRESSIVE!

Many of us are playing financial catch-up, because we weren’t taught financial literacy forgetting to give ourselves grace because for a long time were probably in survival mode and didn’t have the capacity like we might have now 💕
My father has been saying “ once I hit the lotto” for the past 30+ years and has never hit but faithfully plays every week.

Getting out of debt requires you to be tired of your own shit. There is no person, no product, no anything that is going to motivate you to start the journey and be consistent on the journey but you being tired of your own shit!
With 6 figures my perspective on him was different. I never had to worry about a date or paying. The moment I mentioned something it was in my hands within the following week. I still did take him out on dates though.
The mindset in both of them were very much different and 50K would say I talk down to him when it came to money but I truly think it was an insecurity.
6 figures didn’t own a car but was hella fashionable. No flashy but fashionable like you wouldn’t know that sweater was $500. $50K looked like he had money, drove a BMW. Would spend money on flashy designer and put his car insurance on the back burner
My brother is incarcerated for life, and one thing that’s not talked about enough is the financial burden that can take on a family. But one thing I will always buy him is a book. We are going to read ‘The Richest Man in Babylon,’ together and I love that!
Every 6 months I like to ask for a credit line increase and was just approved to have my credit line go from $30,000-$40,000. This is automatically going to lower my credit utilization and raise my credit score because my credit utilization is lower!
I paid $150 to get my eyebrows laminated and tinted with a $30 tip. $180 for hair on my face? How do the girl girls keep up with this, lashes, nails, toes, waxing and hair?!
Girl tax is HIGH 🙃
My main take away was that 50K he did not want to change. He did not see the benefit of saving money. He always felt like he couldn’t save money, but in reality he was spending so much on material items.
My groceries were delivered to my door yesterday. My cleaner is currently cleaning my house. Women, please understand you are not less than because you don’t do it all and there’s no prize in being a drained “superwoman”!
We are on the road to hit $100,000 in my investing portfolio. I’m currently at $46,000 not a lot literally just started 4 years ago making $40,000 during that time but now we are going to maximize this six figure income!
