suggests to me they may be vulnerable to other large predators through out its life span and only become untouchable once fully grown. Therefor Spinosaurus of various age and sizes may have gather in large groups, seeking safety in numbers and the larger individuals in the herd.

Having the idea from seeing large quantities of crocodiles gathering for sunbathing, I thought to myself perhaps Spinosaurus could have exhibited similar behaviors. They are often depicted as solitary animal in paleo media, but the sheer size difference in adult and juvenile. .
