It there a book on Rust that describes succinctly how it works and doesn't spend 2/3 of all prose apologizing and explaining how it's different from other languages?

If I am still living in New Orleans in July 2022, I may as well eat the bugs, but I sure as hell been living in the pod.

Big ass naming event too, because with GitHub and Rust or Go it becomes part of the package names. Also, I have a coding streak on my `bigeasy` account, so I'd have to make a decision to break it or else surrender the name `bigeasy`, but I want a place holder.
Now I want to lose the handle `bigeasy`. Especially in semi-professional accounts like GitHub. At some point I'll have to explain that I lived in New Orleans, past tense, and then I'll have to sit through yet another vacation travelogue.

Speak Italian: The Fine Art of the Gesture (1958), by Bruno Munari. A pocket guide to Italian non-verbal communication. 1) PLEASE. 2) I’VE GOT AN IDEA. 3) I INSIST! (Ah, so that’s what that means. I’ve seen Romans making this gesture in the Astérix comics.) 4) EXCELLENT.

Right up there with the woke 8-year-old is this straw man, that ordinary people are skeptical of the vaccines because of microchips, not because of blood clots and myocarditis.

The mental health effects children are suffering from are a direct result from past and continued Covid policy that does more harm than good.
The U.S. surgeon general warned on Tuesday that young people are facing "devastating" mental health effects as a result of the challenges experienced by their generation, including the pandemic. https://t.co/ZLXK5YzIAN

Walking back into ElasticSearch to find that, nope, they never did resolve their licensing issues.

This website does not work anymore. The mods are running the site for their friends and no one is going to step in to stop them. I've been on the Internet long enough to know an abandoned software project when I see one. https://t.co/pd6xj8ffRB

Google Search is become so terrible that it is consistently serving up this junk instead of the original pages from GitHub. Didn't realize that it had spilled over from the political to an area where you'd think they'd be incentivized to get it right.
