IPS; DIG Udhampur Reasi Range; hard-wired cop; Koshur. At risk of being obsessive; subtle humour always!
More than meets the eye but gliding below the radar.

Dhokā hai yahāñ, lālach hai yahāñ, īmān badalte dekhe haiñ
Daulat ke sunehre jādu se ae dil ye taDapna achhā hai

An important lesson for all parents in the current times.
There is no shying away from this. Fathers and mothers must take equal responsibility in this.
And teach your girls and your boys.
Observe the wrinkled hand of the lady on the back of a soldier. Observe the reassuring hand of another soldier on her back. Observe the message it conveys. Stop the violence and reap the peace.
Trying to improve upon speedier access to health officials like doctors and nurses & other emergencies.
Increasing this Green Lane initiative at more places for the duration of lockdown.
The Green Lane may kindly be approached only by those in need.

An apology letter by 10 year old me to my brother who was studying at Aligarh at the time. I had learned some rather bad words for the first time and I realised too late that he was hurt when I used them over the duration of his vacations. Hence, this epistle of apology.
Suhail worked with me last year. Such a bright, affable boy! Cannot even say I don't believe it. Such crushing blows come often.
If we could only cry!
But we must do more.
Alfaaz Bindaas, we shall take this pain to our grave. And the cusp of decisions shall always weigh heavy. But we shall keep doing our duty and the tales of your bravery shall always illuminate the way for us.

On the day preceding Shri Amarnath Yatra, A Himalayan Brown Bear strolls close to the holy cave. Thank you for the video, Shamsher of SDRF. Man comes close to nature during the annual holy pilgrimage.
Please respect the hard work and sacrifices of these men.
Those "who, while their compatriots slept, were toiling upward through the night"
It is a difficult and scary time. We are up and about, despite the incumbencies of the holy month.
Please use masks and stay home AFAP!
One of the tastiest mushrooms, spring is the time when they sprout in forest areas. Can't be cultivated & very rare, it needs an expert eye to spot & harvest them.
Ephemerality & rarity contribute to the mystery of this priceless gift of nature.

It is strange to hear reservations about Covaxin. Despite so many pyres, do we think we have the luxury to pick & choose now?
This apart from the fact that it is proven and based on solid science.
Just get on with the vaccines please.
Stop the spread, stop the mutations!
Somebody get this for our rivers and lakes.
That Dal dying seems like history already but looking at the Jhelum seems likes that's the unnoticed news. It's gory what we are doing to our water resources.
