@bfurnas It's almost like policy choices (exclusionary zoning, pivot away from mass transit) drive up housing prices!

@bfurnas @StephNakhleh Tokyo was still too expensive for me. I had to move out after two years. 900 bucks for a studio was way too expensive.

@bfurnas NYC too could have more housing (IDK if that's the same as cheaper housing) if stretches of old and ramshackle row houses along side streets could be replaced with new apartment buildings. But they can't be. Voters will not allow it.
