Very proud Dad moment to see my eldest daughter graduate from university today. When my Mum died when I was young, my life was thrown into turmoil. So I never had the chance to go get to this level of education, so I'm really proud to give her that chance and for her to take it.

I know I've had a few minor ailments this year. But overall I've had a pretty good year healthwise. I'm trying to work my way up to a big adventure, so I've worked hard this year. I ended this summer fitter and lighter than I've been for more than 20 years! Can't complain.

Following on my record on the Cheltenham Gold Cup, I managed a record on the Grand National today as well. When I first started trading, I felt a really long term goal would be to get "A grand on the grand", but I'm well past that now . It's been an excellent start to the year!

My favourable place to trade is pre-off horse racing markets as that is where 4/5ths of the money is matched on Racing and it's lower risk. But if you would like me to do some YouTube videos looking in-play strategies, along with stats and stuff, worts and all. Happy to do so!

Most people trade their dreams for security as they age. When I left a good career I traded security for my dreams. It was the best thing I ever did!!!

If you want to see where the problem gambling issue is. Sports betting online is less than 17% of the entire market, according to the GC. Over half of the money lost on gambling is online Casinos and the lottery. But no checks are in place for the lottery.

I ran several bits of automation on top of my manual trading today, this was the best. At first, I used automation was to alert me to opportunities, then to open trades for me and then close them. It's takes a lot of work. But once done, it's great to watch it work its magic.

My manual trading P&L today demonstrates the benefit of good money management. It's a decent total but the average result is quite small and I actually lost on 13/52, or 25% of the markets I traded. But I managed to keep my losses small in proportion to my winning trades.
