25 years this month since this 22yo went for his costume fitting and started walking the streets of Sun Hill (after he found the changing rooms). So grateful to The Bill for teaching me lots, helping me buy a property and for introducing me to my wife. 👮🏻‍♂️

Sad to hear Norman Eshley has died. Did The Bill together and he was so kind to me. I asked if he’d sign an autograph to my parents and he wrote them a mini-letter thanking them for enjoying his work and praising me as an actor and a person. An absolute gentleman and legend.

Drove past Sun Hill station just now.

Son and I just watched #CaptainAmerica  at Wimbledon Odeon in IMAX 3D and there were only four of us there. No fear of noisy toss-pots ruining it with their snacks, phones and chat. Absolute bliss. Both thoroughly enjoyed the film too.

Ah, man. Very sad news about Brian Murphy. Met him a few years ago and he was patient, kind and (surprise surprise) funny. What a terrific actor. Made it look easy.

Ah, man. Tony Slattery. At the start of every Whose Line episode, I’d look at the contestant’s table to see if they had envelopes for “Party Quirks” and hoped it would make the broadcast. That was my favourite game and Tony was so funny as the host of the party. Sad news.

Don Gilet’s face when reluctantly walking out to greet the suspects for the denouement was the final confirmation I needed that he absolutely nailed it. Well done to him and all involved. Such a great show. #deathinparadise.

#TheDayOfTheJackal was excellent, but Bianca wasn’t likeable enough. She was incredibly bland. Eddie Redmayne as The Jackal oozed charisma, so the ending was all a bit meh. Or maybe that was the point.

Thoroughly enjoyed #BlackDoves on @NetflixUK. But I can’t be the only one that didn’t have a clue who the woman with Reed was at the very end and had to look it up?.

We were at this McFly concert and it was possibly the best gig I’ve been to. These four lads are incredible musicians with an infectious energy that is unrelenting. I’ve seen many huge artists live and they’re easily up there with Springsteen, Bon Jovi and U2 as performers. @ITV.

Ah, man. So sad to hear about Tony Todd. Met him at Heathrow and we chatted for ages about his career. In particular 24 (my favourite show). “When Kiefer calls, you don’t say no.”.He was so patient and kind and told me he wanted to perform in theatre in the West End. A true gent.

Just watched The Flash movie and thought it was absolutely brilliant. Great action, very very funny and some wonderful moments of nostalgia. Four of us thoroughly enjoyed it.

Happy 40th to the show that changed my life. Made some great friends, worked with a wealth of talent, bought a house and, most importantly, met my amazing wife. I also got to right-hook a fella twice my size whilst I made some dubious sounding grunting. 😄👍🏻

Took our kids to their first gig this evening. We all got McFly’d at The O2 and it was fricking superb. Such an underrated group. Possibly the best band I’ve seen live. @mcflymusic

40 years since Leonard Rossiter left us. Here he is with my dad. Leonard was filming in Devon and wanted to play squash. Dad was the local No 1 so they played and had a great time. Leonard gave him a signed bottle of Cinzano which I still have!

Just had a look for Hans Zimmer tickets at The O2 next year. Could’ve got front row. Only problem? It’s £588 for two tickets. Wow.
