Horsham’s FA Cup run came to an end yesterday, having matched the furthest they’ve gone in the competition from 06/07 when they were knocked out by League One Swansea in Round 2.
It’s been a great run this time around and one I’ll never forget 👏🏼

2 of the subs were forced because of injury so had to bring on similar players as one was in the 1st half and the other at halftime. But the last sub was strange when he took of Higuain, who had a decent game, for Giroud when there were 20 minutes to go and we were pushing on

We played a National League side, two divisions above us, off the park playing some outstanding football.

I don’t think I’ve ever been at a game like that in my life…
Looking back I can’t quite believe it happened and also getting the opportunity to commentate on it for the club made it all the more special.
It made 10 hour round trip feel like nothing!

I am so tired after most, pretty much every, game now the biggest talking point is poor decisions made via VAR… refereeing decisions were never that bad before the introduction of VAR that it was the main talking point after every game.
It needs to go.
