WILDFIRES UPDATE Kingston Overnight, the Kingston wildfire experienced growth and is now an estimated 6370 hectares. Ground crews will continue to work on fuel breaks at the southern boundary. A fuel break is also being constructed in the Northern Bay area.

The wildfire in Kingston is still very active and has grown to approximately 2175 hectares. Fire mapping shows growth to the west, northwest and southwest corners. Today, ground crews will be actioning the fire on the southern edge, near Perry’s Cove and Salmon Cove.
