These photos highlight the dangers of unsolicited tech use, and how altering images can have long-lasting, toxic effects on us.

This project demonstrates how social media is constantly altering our self esteem and mental health. With easy editing apps like FaceTune, Photoshop, and others, the lines between reality and illusion are blurred.

These photos are from a project by Dan Budnick, titled #SelfieHarm He took headshots of several teenagers then handed them the photo, instructing them to edit, filter, and alter it until they felt it was suitable to post on social media. This is what happened.
