While everyone talks about ar/vr sets, I couldn’t sleep last night thinking about books, you know? those physical, tangible objects that collect human thoughts/creations and are made out of paper, often bound.

Mostly I miss having a space and people that inspire me around me and want to WFH less this year, lol.

Putting this out here, to see if I can make it a reality: looking for a studio-share/desk space starting in March. Ideally shared with other people that make art/books/type/design. Possibly to use mostly on nights and weekends, maybe day-time too. Bonus if dog friendly 🐶

I created a set of assets including custom colorful backgrounds,frames for artists features, handwritten pieces & scribbles. And along w/Calvin Chin 🌟 created a design system & guidelines to hand off to the other Teams for production (Books, TV, Podcasts, Music, AppStore…)3/3

Poet @_joseolivarez talked about language & use of hispanic, latino, latinx, latine; how being neither from here or there (Ni de aquí, ni de allá) shapes our identities & belonging (or not). This resonated a lot, as an immigrant who’s spent most her adult life in the US. 2/3
