Universal Basic Income will be (and is) a societal disaster. Removing the reason to work, complete dependency on the largesse of others (or its withdrawal). There are better ways to fix the problem of wealth inequality than forcing the poor to become vassals of the rich.

The wording of this bill puts the State clearly above the people. This is a total change from the basic concept of Western democracies, in which it is assumed citizens have inalienable rights and control government. People need to understand this is going, and who is taking it.
