We have decided to keep the Platinum Jubilee models on display for longer to commemorate Her Majesty The Queen's extraordinary reign. There are 7 models, each portraying a decade from her 70 years service. Here she is shown walking her beloved corgis with the Duke of Edinburgh

A visit to Bekonscot Model Village in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England. The world's oldest model village, opened to the public in 1929. The name is an amalgam of Beaconsfield and Ascot. A sheer delight for young and old! @bekonscot

Our model-makers are always looking for new technology and materials to improve the lifespan of our models. The chimneys on these cottages are now partly 3D printed with cast resin chimney pots. If you look in the window of the workshop you'll be able to see the work in progress!

Our beautiful wildflower meadow was created using the local Bee Squared initiative- it's amazing how even this small area attracts so many insects!

Did you know the lake was originally Roland Callingham's swimming pool? Sometimes in this weather we wish it still was!
