It’s been a great year for women in sports, and we’re so glad to be a part of telling their stories! 💪♀️ But more than that, we’re grateful to everyone who’s been here with us, championing equality for female athletes. (1/2)

For some athletes, sports is all about winning. Medals. “Bringing home the hardware”. But not me. Don’t get me wrong. I am competitive; and I want to win. But the focus purely on “hardware” is quite limiting and insular. For me, the hardware is simply a “means to an end”.

It took a while, but Filipino fans finally came around. Maybe all their exploits this year, whether they won or lost, put them in the spotlight long enough for Filipino fans to take notice and become enamored with the team. #LabanFilipinas https://t.co/t6CjTNuYt6
