A great result in the Manchester FA Challenge Trophy, beating Denton 4-3. All the players worked hard and made it difficult for our opponents, some great goals, all credit to Denton Town, very gracious in defeat

A below-par performance yesterday, but a fantastic goal to salvage a draw. All credit to Manchester Rovers, who played well and were the better team on the day. No game next week, unfortunately so the players have been given next weekend off for doing so well over the preseason

This weekend, we are on the journey to claim the McKeown Cup. This prestigious trophy unites the champions of the LAL Prem and the L& C Prem. We proudly welcome Rochdale St. Clements, a respected club with a rich history. The bar will open at 1:30 p.m., should be a cracker

Game abandoned due to a serious injury, a broken Tibia & ankle dislocation from a bad challenge. It was a good game to this point and was played in a good spirit. All our thoughts are with Jude, who will undergo double surgery over the next few days.

Another great workout and good game, Eccles started stronger and went 1-0 up We replied with two goals in the second half and created opportunities. Excles hit back in the 85th minute to equalise, and the game swung in their favour, and we managed to hang on for a draw

Wednesday’s result against a strong, well-organised Baguley Athletic was good, with an excellent attacking performance. We started slow and fell behind in the 8th minute, but we went on to score 5 with some outstanding goals. Baguley will do well in the coming season.
