Archie wanted to be that person for her. That no matter what happens as long as he’s around she wasn’t going to fall into that darkness. Arms around her frame tightly as he enjoyed being the big spoon with Betty. “Too bad we can’t stay like this forever.”
Betty had always fought herself, that fear, that cloud of darkness that came over her; and sometimes she scared herself. But Archie only saw light in her; and she wanted to be that light for him. She leaned into his arms now as we settled in against the bed.

Betty had a darkness in her and they both knew it all too well. But if he could be the one to help her see the light he’d be more thankful. “Perfect.” He whispers before the two get all cuddled up together.
He was the light to how dark she felt sometimes. She had seen stars with him. Her lips moved softly against his, as she whispered. " How could I say no?"

He developed that crush on her as a kid, even asked to marry her. But things didn’t go as planned, especially with how long he was dating Veronica. Now, he found his way back to the one he wanted. Kisses were passionate as they shared them, clearly no end in sight.
Betty had that crush from the second we met, two kids in a sandbox playing. And she had accepted friends was all we were. But suddenly it was like Archie saw her for who she was. His touch she leaned into as the pair shared an embrace, a kiss that was filled with longing.

He would be the same way, saying it’s a waste of water to any other couple doing this. But since it’s him and Betty, it’s definitely worth it. They kissed one another as if they were starving, only with a craving for the other. Plus, trying to make up for lost time as well.

It was only us, it felt like the whole world didn’t exist outside of this moment shared. There was no desire to do anything else then to kiss Betty like this, to devour her as the shower water ran down their bodies and skin.

He did want her, yes. Only if she wanted him the same way though, not as friends. He’s kissing Betty as his hands find her waist right now. Taking a step backwards into his house so he can close the door and not have people watch them.
She was his, if he wanted her that was. Her smile through the kiss. As she leaned in to slip her arms around his neck, as she leaned in and met his lips softly with her own.

Darkness did follow them both and they both were so much in life already. But Archie wanted to be there for her, to be the one she needed. She wasn’t invisible at all. It took too long, but she was the girl of his dreams. Archie leant in to kiss her softly.
Darkness followed us. It had a way of steeping into us, in this town. But Archie it was this guiding light for her. The way he looked at her; it was the way she always longed for him to see her. As if she wasn't invisible anymore.
