i think that’s a misconception. historically, skill was the focus. i also believe “youth culture” is dead. today’s cool is powered by ‘90s and ‘00s nostalgia.
Young man's game... One of the pillars of hip hop was being cool it's only but so cool you could be past 40 45 50 how cool can you be how do you connect to the youth.... What does that say about the future of hip hop That's why I couldn't understand how YB didn't make the list
