Ms Ahmed has further enhanced her expertise by completing diplomas from the Summer Academy on Continental Shelf, co-organized by the @NUSingapore and the The University of the Faroe Islands Islands, as well as the 8th Yeosu Academy of the Law of the Sea in Korea.

Meet Ms Shushmita Ahmed, a PhD Candidate at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, researching deep seabed mining from Third World perspectives. She holds a Master of Environmental Law from the University of Melbourne, Australia.

through his roles as a Consultant for the FAO and UNODC and as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Yokohama City University, Japan. His research focused on the regional and international management of fisheries and the conservation of marine environment.

BCOLP serves as a key platform for advancing knowledge, with this training workshop marking one of its flagship initiatives focused on Sea Law from Bangladesh perspective. Dr. Arif has also served as a Teaching Fellow at the UNSW and has demonstrated his passion for the field..
