BC Egg is proud to support Canuck Place Children's Hospice in their work to support children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Our donations of BC eggs help provide healthy, comforting meals for their guests and are a key ingredient in their legendary cookies.

It's important to our farmers that everyone in BC has access to healthy, affordable, protein produced on local BC farms. We're proud to work with Food Banks BC and local Food Banks throughout the province to help distribute our donations of eggs to those who need them most.

Chickens aren't designed for our extremely cold BC winters. Hens in enriched and free run housing are always snug and warm in their barns, but even intrepid free range and organic hens are allowed to stay indoors when outside temperatures get too chilly.

While they're often more visible during the holidays, our local Food Banks are doing amazing work all year round to help meet rising food insecurity levels in our BC communities. BC Egg is proud to help them in their fight against hunger with regular donations of fresh, BC eggs.

Our farmers collect eggs from their hens every day - sometimes twice a day! The hens don't stop laying for holidays or weekends, so it's a 365 day a year job, but it means we have fresh, local eggs year 'round. Happy #FarmerFriday!
